Silvia Sales is the MassHealth Case Manager here at Surprenant & Beneski, P.C. She joined the team in 2014 and has worked in the legal field since 2001, bringing experience in real estate matters, estate planning, probate, and civil litigation. She feels privileged to work with elders and their families as they deal with the difficulties of declining health. She enjoys helping them to navigate the intricacies of obtaining financial assistance to help pay for a case, whether it be in a community or nursing home setting.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two amazing little girls, Kaydence and Arianna. She hopes to travel and sees new places in the near future.
What is something your client’s have to deal with that you want to fix?
I would like to eliminate the stress and the overwhelming feeling that the Medicaid process can bring to the elderly and to those who are caring for them.
What are your personal values that drive you?
Empathy for sure. My mom is 88 so I am able to understand what many of my clients are going through. I try to ease as much of the Medicaid burden as possible so that they can focus on what is truly important.
What are 2 – 3 things you absolutely love?
I love the ability to work with my clients one on one. love to make my clients smile, truly warms my heart. I love going on vacation with my family.
What do you want our clients to know about you?
I met my husband through a friend and 23 years later we have 2 girls and a cat. My mom is now 88 and will be 89 in November. I am the youngest of 8 kids. My family means the world to me.
What’s your favorite local spot?
I like to entertain as much as I can at home but also love Round Hill in Dartmouth in the summer months when I have free time and it’s not too busy.
